Privacy policy
What we collect, why we need it, and how we protect your wedding memories.
What we collect
When you order, we collect:
- Name, email, and shipping address (for delivery and order updates)
- Optional cover text (couple names and wedding date)
- Payment details processed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers
- Photos and videos you upload for your order
- Basic site analytics needed to run and improve the store
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- Process payment and fulfill your order
- Edit and load your film (Edited Edition) or load your video (Self-Load)
- Ship your book and send order status emails
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal data or your wedding footage.
Your footage
Uploads are stored privately and used only to produce your order. After your book is delivered, we may retain files for a limited time for support and quality issues, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your uploads sooner by emailing hello@memorytale.com.
Processors we use
We rely on trusted providers to run the store: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and private file storage), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.
